Expanded metal
It has various other applications in addition to batteries,
such as golf shafts and tennis racket frames.
Features of expanded metal
Expanded metal is a mesh-like metal material that is made by making cuts to a metal foil in a zigzag manner and is expanded with a mold (expand processing). Expand processing to 1 m of material expands it by 2 to 4 times.
This processing can be done to various types of metals in addition to steel.
- Aluminum
- Copper
- Stainless steel
- Titanium
- Nickel
- Monel
- Various resins
- Various paper types
(This process can be done to any material with an expansion capacity of 15% or more.)
Many applications are available.
